Supplemental Warmth for Colder Days
Designed for supplemental warmth in chicken coops and suitable animal enclosures during cold weather or sudden temperature drops. Carbon fiber heating, two power settings and a hanging design let you adapt the setup to your enclosure and your animals’ needs.
Carbon Fiber Heating
The upgraded carbon fiber heating element provides directional supplemental heat across the area beneath the heater. A protective grille surrounds the bulb, while the reflector helps direct warmth toward the intended area.
The heater operates without an open flame. This does not remove burn or fire risks: the element and surrounding parts can become hot. Do not treat it as a cool-touch or light-free appliance.
Two Power Settings: 200W & 400W
Choose the 200W low setting or 400W high setting using the visible inline switch. The listed indicator guide shows green for low and green plus red for high. These are power settings, not a verified automatic room-temperature thermostat.
Hanging Design & Protective Grille
The lamp cover, stainless steel rack and protective grille are designed for a suspended installation. Two chains and hanging hardware are supplied, so wall drilling may not be needed where a suitable, secure overhead fixing is available. The power cord is listed as 6.56 ft; this is not a recommended hanging height.
Installation
Install the bulb and protective rack according to the supplied instructions before connecting power. Secure the heater using the specified hanging hardware and follow the manual for mounting height, clearances and electrical connection. Disconnect power and allow the unit to cool before assembly, adjustment or bulb replacement.
